finally got the grass sled tested. jason at 131 was super nice and let me use the grass track to test the sled. learned alot. couldnt get the timers to work so just tach tuned. after a full day of testing in the heat we (my dad and i) couldnt get the rpms to rise at the finish. think the stingers are too small and im getting a set of pipes from doug to try. made about 10 passes.

installed new bored carbs. went outside to test them. huge rolling bog. did some changes and still dont work. swapping the others back on before testing.

got the 43 tooth gear in and chaincase done, pipes on. all thats left is the carbs.

grass skid all assembled and installed. seat and tank on. thanks for the help dad.

boots wont work, ordered some prox ones. those should work.

ordered washers, should be in monday with new carb boots. the new boots are angled for extreme acceleration fuel positioning. also well have 5lbs of lead hanging off them. hmmmmmm........

started assembling the grass skid today. its coming together nicely. need to get some spacer washers and bolts yet.

sorry to the guys that wanted to come. what can i do? ive dropped a ton of money on this electrical issue and still no spark.

stator didnt fix it....im lost.

got permission for next thursday. hope its ready.

we will be testing the asphalt sled friday. anyone interested in coming down we will be a us 131 in martin, MI. get there around 6pm. you may see history made. a 9 second 700cc NA sled.

had some more communicating with the sponcer. its a sled clothing maker. this is looking good. itll definately benifit both of us greatly.

went to martin to check out the track. its pretty much what i thaught it would be. hopefully he lets us rent it cheap since im doing all my own prep and timing.
