Work continues and the sled is getting closer. Mike is working on shock valving right now so we can finish the rear suspension. We got the new chain and gears so that is all taken care of too. Chaincase, cover, brake, oil tank, and cross support all fit during our dry run so all the pieces are falling into place quick. The track is re-clipped and waiting for studs. Hopefully the spindles are back from the CNC this week and the ECU arrives from Polaris so dyno work can begin.
Me and Kev had time saturday to tear into Mike's #05 and work on truing that up after the insane crash at lincoln last season. Need to straighten the trialing arms, handlebars and make new steering rods. I got a chance to tear off the foot loop and butt pad of Mike's since it will be just me racing it this year. Put the bar riser in too.
It sure is alot easier fixing stuff compared to making it from scratch.
We got some snow but still some time before the ice settles in. We aren't missing any test time yet but definately need to kick it in gear.
