Another respectable performance by the LMB SpeedShop team.  But still no checkered flags.  We are putting in some overtime in the next two weeks to make sure that that changes at Lincoln.  the #5 sled is being updated with a mod motor along with all new bearings and steering components.  The shocks were also brought up to snuff as well.  After running the 300 laps at Drummond the sled was definitely in need of some serious TLC.  The list of stuff that almost knocked us out of the race is: Blown base gasket, temporarily de-railed track, excessively worn drive cogs, missing studs and broken backers, air in front rail shock, worn out heim joints on steering arms, loose motor mount, and the list goes on.  So the #5 sled will effectively be a new sled for the 500 laps at lincon and we will finally have the HP to run with the other big guns on the high speed track.  Looking for a repeat victory and our first trademark Pollock Lap of the year.
