Before the last race of the year we did a complete overhaul of the #5 enduro sled to prep it for the biggest race of the year. We also sent the motor out to Doug Flannery for some modifications.  Sled was prepped and ready.  Sprints on saturday had a big showing of champ and mod sleds so we didn't fair as well with our stocker and enduro sled in the open sprint class.  Eric did take home first in both of his heats as well as a main event win in the Limited 600 Class.  Kevin qualified our enduro sled on the outside of the front row.  Only 19 thousandths of a second out of first.

The track was falling apart due to the warmer weather and it continued to get worse on sunday.  By lap 50 there were huge areas of dirt showing and the track got really rough.  Our front shocks began to lock up which made our sled really hard to handle in the rough line.  Around lap 230ish Eric hopped on mid plow and ended up getting losing the handlebars in the corner and rolling the sled.  he landed hard on his shoulder and had to visit with the ambulance crew.

Kevin used the mod power to make back 10+ laps during the course of the rest of the race while Eric was in the ER with a broken collarbone.  Kyle Strieter from team #25 helped out for the last half of the race.  We had the fastest sled out there for sure.  At one point around lap 400 kevin was turning laps that were two seconds faster than the leaders.  He was able to fight his way back up to 8th with a hobbled sled saving our team valuable points.
